Stormwater Project at Kalamazoo Valley Community College

Posted Date: 10/31/2012
KVCC was awarded a grant from the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) to fund a stormwater treatment project at the Texas Township campus.  The project was designed to eliminate stormwater runoff from the single, remaining untreated outfall to the West Fork Portage Creek in the Kalamazoo River Watershed.  K&A is the lead engineer on the project.  Construction on the project started in early October and is expected to be completed by the end of November.
